A bot scored your business. Your buyers believe the bot.
Rating sites grade a new business on its age, its traffic and a hidden WHOIS, and buyers see the grade before they see you. A Business Trust Record is a public page of facts read from the public record — your state registration, your address match, your secure site, your posted policies, browser blocklists — each with its source and the date it was checked. A badge for your site, a lookup anyone can run, and re-checks through the year: the website, blocklist and domain facts each month, the state registration at least every three months.
For a business registered in any U.S. state. We never ask for your login, your documents or your customers’ data.

The same facts a Record is built from, read now, shown to you and stored nowhere. One fact — that you control the domain — is confirmed after purchase, with a code we e-mail to an address at your domain or a link on your homepage.
The facts that decide whether a Record is issued. Each one is read from its source, not from you.
A Record is issued only when every one of these is true on the day it is checked. Each line on the page carries a link to where the fact came from and the date it was read.
State registration
The entity exists, is active, and when it was filed — read from the state’s own register, with the document number.

The badge on your site
Footer, About page, next to the checkout button. It links to your Record. A buyer who is deciding clicks it and lands on the facts.
The link, wherever you are asked
Quotes, invoices, your e-mail signature, a marketplace storefront, the reply to “are you a real company?” One link instead of a paragraph of reassurance.
The lookup, for the buyer who trusts nothing on your site
Anyone can type your domain at reclaimshield.io/lookup. Your Record comes up, or one sentence says none has been issued. A copied badge points at nothing.
A public page built to be read
Your Record is a public, indexable page naming your business, with structured data for search engines and the AI assistants. Where it appears is theirs to decide; what it says is yours to check.
The same facts, read again.
Each month the website, blocklist and domain facts are read again from their sources, and the state registration at least every three months; each result is added to your Record, dated. Your private page also links to the rating sites, so you can see what they show, and shows where your website stands on what they can count against a new business.
If a required fact stops being true, the Record is withdrawn and the badge says so. That is the only way a Record can be worth anything to a buyer: it is current because it is checked, not because it was issued once.
Issued at your request. Built from public sources.
Yours to ask for
A Record is issued only at the request of the business it describes. The lookup answers for a business that has asked, and says nothing about one that has not.
Nothing collected from you
No documents, no login, no customer data. Every fact is read from a public source, and the source is linked.
One price. The Record, the badge, the lookup, the re-checks.
Record included
For one business and one domain. Pay first, then tell us the business; the Record is issued when every required fact is true.
Renews yearly. Cancel any time from your billing portal; the Record stays up until its own expiry date.

What is a Business Trust Record?
A Business Trust Record is a public page, issued by ReclaimShield at a business’s request, that shows the facts a buyer checks before paying: the business’s state registration, whether the city and state on that record match its website, that the business controls its own domain, a secure site, posted terms, refund and privacy policies, and whether browser safety lists flag the site. Each fact is read from its source, linked and dated. The facts are re-checked through the year, and the Record is withdrawn if a required fact stops being true. Anyone can look a business up at reclaimshield.io/lookup.
How do I check whether a small online business is real before I buy from it?
Check what public records say about it. Look the business up on its state’s business-entity register and see whether it is active. See whether the city and state on that record match the website. Make sure the site uses a secure connection and posts its terms, refund and privacy policies. Check whether browser safety lists flag the site. If the business has a Business Trust Record, those checks are on one page, each linked to its source and dated — look it up at reclaimshield.io/lookup.
How does this help with the rating sites?
A rating is someone else’s score. A Record is the public record itself, with every source linked — so a buyer who has seen a rating can check you for themselves. Your private page also links to the rating sites and shows where your website stands on what they can count against a new business, and what you can change.
Why could I not just post these facts on my own site?
You can. The trouble is that it is exactly what a scam site posts too. A buyer cannot tell the true version from the false one without going to the state register and the blocklists themselves — and few buyers do that for a small order. A Record is that check, done by a third party, with the sources linked, on a page you cannot edit and a lookup that lives on our domain, not yours.
What do you need from me?
Your domain, your legal name and the state you are registered in. Then one quick step only you can do: confirm the website is yours, with a code we e-mail to an address at your domain or a link on your homepage. If someone else runs your website, your setup page writes the steps for you to send them.
How do I put it on my website?
You pick: paste the badge code, add a button that links to your Record (no code needed), share your link, or send buyers to reclaimshield.io/lookup. If someone else runs your website, your setup page writes the e-mail for you to send them.
Do you publish my address?
No. The Record says whether the city and state on your state record match your site. The address itself is never printed. Nothing about the people behind the business is printed either.
What if one of the facts is not true today?
Then the Record is not issued, and your private page tells you which fact and where it was read. Fix it — post the missing policy page, clear the listing — and run the check again. If a fact stops being true later, the Record is withdrawn and the badge says so.
Which states?
Any U.S. state. The registration line is read from your state’s business register and links to the state’s record.
How often is my Record re-checked?
The website, blocklist and domain facts every month; the state registration at least every three months. Each reading is added to your Record with its date.
Give the buyer something to check.
